Hollidaysburg, PA

Hummer Turfgrass was contracted to build a first class little league field for the town of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. Hummer’s team worked with a group of dedicated league officials to help plan and design the facility’s grading scheme and irrigation design. The field was completely irrigated with an outfield warning track and grass infield. The highlight of the field is the 20’ high “Shmonster” in left field, a tribute to the project’s major contributor, Sheetz. Kentucky Bluegrass big roll sod was installed and ready for play the following spring.
