After failed attempts by other contractors, Methacton School District turned to Hummer Turfgrass Systems to establish a football practice field from seed. Hummer removed 20 cubic yards of stones and debris from the topsoil. Turf type Tall Fescue was seeded in a crossing pattern with our Brillion turfmaker and then covered with straw and tackifier. Temporary irrigation was set up to grow-in this July 2010 seeding.
