Preventative maintenance is the best approach when dealing with a baseball infield. That was the mindset of the Penn State University Harrisburg’s maintenance staff when they contracted Hummer to edge and laser grade the skinned areas of their infield. Edging and grading helps to reduce the buildup of material along the grass edges. The Hummer crew also rebuilt the game and warm-up mounds as well as the batters and catchers boxes.
