Baseball / Softball Infield Renovations
The transition between turf and skinned areas on an infield can be one of the hardest areas to maintain on any type of athletic field and is often a factor in the outcome of a game. The importance of the skinned area is evident by the fact that 90% of the game is played on this part of the field. At Hummer we use knowledge of the game and experience playing at the division one level to provide our customers with a surface that plays like a champion. We use precision laser grading and our reverse tine Blecavator to renovate infield surfaces and remove the lips that build up over time. We also construct and renovate pitching mounds and home plate areas to the specifications of the level of play.
